Peckham Performance, London

Peckham Performance was a competition winning design scheme we proposed for the redevelopment of the site adjacent to Peckham Library . The proposed development is a mixture of public and private buildings knitted together by a public square, offering a range of facilities including bars, cafes, a performance venue, housing, live-work spaces and offices. A ten-storey inclined tower forms a distinctive edge to the square and incorporates a camera obscura and a giant plasma screen for advertising events in the performance space, providing information on productions, screenings and arts projects in the locality.
