Head of Housing, Hudson Architects, Norwich

Following a period of continued growth, a rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced, ambitious and driven architect to take a strategic role in our senior leadership team.

We are looking for an exceptional individual with a passion for high quality design, a proven track record of delivering housing projects and developing relationships with new clients in both the public and private sector.

The Head of Housing will lead the strategic direction of the housing sector within the practice, building on our current client base and overseeing the design team coordination and delivery on all housing projects between 5 and 200 units in both the market and affordable sectors. Working directly with the newly appointed Board of Directors, the Head of Housing will also form part of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the strategic direction and management of the practice.

Part I / Part II Architectural Assistant

Due to continued expansion, an opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Part I or newly qualified Part II Architectural Assistant to join our award-winning team in central Norwich.  

Practice projects include one-off houses, private and social housing, museums, galleries, public buildings, schools and universities.

Applicants should combine a strong design sense, with a good working knowledge of design software. Proficiency in ArchiCAD, InDesign, Photoshop and SketchUp would be highly advantageous. The successful applicant will be organised, display good communication skills, excellent attention to detail and be capable of handling and prioritising a range of tasks.
