Originally part of a complex of farm buildings, the Quaker Barns now stand as an exemplar of modern barn conversions in Norfolk.
The form and details of the original barns were emphasised to avoid the usual domestic language often found in such barn conversions. The barns are constructed from materials sourced from the surrounding area in Norfolk, such as brick and oak, and recycled resources such as straw bale, fibreglass, and car window seals.
