Coastal Cottage is a thoughtfully reimagined home that brings together a pair of traditional flint cottages to create a spacious single dwelling on the North Norfolk coast. A series of carefully-designed extensions, including a compact glazed, were key to creating a home that balances sustainable modern living with the cottages’ traditional character and charm. Hudson Architects also undertook a comprehensive energy upgrade, achieving remarkable levels of energy efficiency while respecting the building’s historic fabric.
