An appetite for curiosity, discovery and understanding is central to our ethos at Hudson Architects. By maintaining a commitment to research and development, we ensure that our practice remains up-to-date with new industry developments, innovative products, construction materials and techniques. This not only provides opportunities for progression within the built environment sector, but when applied to our projects, offers added value for our clients.

Below are some examples of the research projects we are currently involved in.

Hudson Architects are thrilled to be key UK partners in the CobBauge project, which forms part of the work by the European Union to reduce the carbon emissions of the FCE area by 2020 by 20% (2012/27/UE). The energy consumed for the building sector currently represents 40% of the total energy produced (UE2010), 60% of which is used by occupants to heat buildings.
