Alpes-Maritimes, France

Two separate and contrasting buildings, each with their individual characteristics, have been brought together as one large family house for entertaining. We enjoyed working directly with French building trades, an experience by which we benefitted from tradesmen’s individual craft expertise, allowing us to hone and develop details throughout the building process. The resulting project enhances the retained original character of the two buildings with a series of subtle contemporary interventions.
