We are delighted to announce that our research project CobBauge picked up the prestigious Regiostars Award in Brussels. Organised by the European Commission, Regiostars celebrates Europe’s most innovative regional projects and CobBauge triumphed on the night beating off stiff competition to win the sustainability award.
CobBauge, an INTERREG research project co-funded by the ERDF, has developed a new highly sustainable, earth-based building material and construction process. It will be used to create low carbon, low energy, economical homes that are compliant with building standards. The project is led by the University of Plymouth and we are working alongside 4 other partners across the UK and France.
